Sony XDR-S10HDiP HD Radio is where iPhone meets HD radio. I have personally not been a fan of HD radio, but that’s mainly due to the fact that I don’t listen to radio these days. But there is no argument that HD radio is a superior experience to anything else available in this category. You won’t have to pay a subscription fee either which makes it great. Sony XDR-S10HDiP HD Radio is more than just a radio. It’s an iPhone dock, a HD tuner, and an alarm clock all in one device. And it’s compatible with any iPod or iPhone under the sun.

Sony XDR-S10HDiP HD Radio comes with a backlit bright LCD screen that makes reading it very easy even at night. So you don’t have to light up your whole house to see what time is it or just listen to something smooth at night. I was skeptic about the quality of radio and sound before I got the device. I’ve got to say, the sond quality is better than I expected.

What’s nice about this gadget is that it’s a super dock for your iPhone or iPod. It allows you to charge up your iPhone while it’s connected and listen to your music at the same time. And the control makes it easy to navigate through your music without having to remove your iPhone from the dock. The iTunes Tag button on the new XDR-S1OHDiP allows you to tag songs you like that are broadcast by HD radio stations. These tags are then transferred to your iPhone or iPod, and you can then go ahead and buy them from iTunes. That’s what I call convenient.

The fact that you get a fully-fledged alarm clock with this HD iPhone dock is a big plus for me. I don’t like to have 6 gadgets doing 6 different things. With this HD Radio, not only I got to get rid of my old alarm clock, I also get to play Pure Sleep to my heart’s desire.

Overall, Sony XDR-S10HDiP is one heck of an iPhone accessory that not only enables you to get the best radio has to offer, but also get your iPhone/iPod charged when you are not using it and wake up to your favorite tune on your iPhone. It may be a bit pricey but you are getting multiple devices in one. If you need an HD radio, a clock, and a cool iPhone dock, why not get them all in one place?
